Background information about self: Married to Tina for 38 years. She is a kindergarten teacher in D-11. We met in Montrose, Colorado. We have two grown children – a son and a daughter. The first half of my career was in Montrose, CO, with 5 years at Woodgate Christian School and 11 years all together in Montrose County Schools Re-1J.
The second half of my career has been in the Pikes Peak Region with 9 years in Colorado Springs D-11 and 5 years with Hanover D-28. Over the years, I have taught regular classroom, technology/STEM specials classes, and have been both an assistant principal and school principal. Since retiring in 2010 from public education, I have remained active in education both as a tutor in D-11 and by teaching computer classes since 2011 with Unified Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Colorado Springs. I have been a full-time teacher since 2015 at SPCS after adding STEM courses from Project Lead the Way and code.org to our technology curriculum.
